Swaziland Synthetic helmet (˜1990)

0277 Fire helmet of the professional fire department of the city of Lobamba, Ezulwini Valley, Mbabane, Kingdom of Swaziland. The red Polycarbonat helmet with his heavy edge protection made of rubber reminds considerably of the helmets of the company MSA. See helmets no.: 133 and 184. The helmet and the inside helmet was patented in Canada in 1971. U.S. . patent 3/500/474. Manufacturer of the helmet is the company Rhino Safety, the helmet type the type "G" is. The company possibly is located in JHB (Johannesburg South Africa). The helmet was produced according to the South African guidelines of the "SABS" South African Bureau of standards according to the SABS norm 397. The norm of 1983 defines "Safety helmets for industrial use and for firemen". The helmet had a plexiglas visor, which one is held by means of lateral metal fastenings and knurled screws. The inside helmet is kept very miserable, the chinstrap with simple snap rings fastened to the helmet bell. Attaching a neck guard isn't scheduled. The badge of the fire departments Swaziland is on the front side of the helmet. In opposite to helmet no.: 276, it isn't a simple sticker but a sticker but a sticker passes the contours from thin metal threads. The badge shows the national coat of arms of Swaziland on a silver star. A white-black shield with spears lying behind this. Fire service Swaziland stands on the coat of arms. The helmet gets so used in this form today.
