| 0999 | Fire helmet from Portugal. Manufacturer is the company American Sports Co. Inc. from the USA. The helmet is the only model built by American Sports. For more information about the helmets, see numbers 0647 and 0951, USA. The helmet is an early version of the model. It was built around 1970. The helmet shell is not disguised inside, the coarse structure of the glass fiber recognizable. The helmet has the insignia of the "Bombeiros Montelavar" on the front. (Fire Department Montelavar). Montalavar is located about 15km northwest of Lisbon. Sideways stands "CMDT" for Comandante and the 4 red bars of the rank label. | |||||||
