Fire helmet from South Tyrol, Italy. Manufacturer is the company Rosenbauer from Austria. The helmet type is called Heros 2. It was built in December 1998 according to EN397 and EN443. The helmet shell is made of polyamide, floureszent painted. The helmet type Heros was introduced around 1990. In an improved version, the Heros 2 was sold from around 1998. The difference between Heros and Heros 2 was, that the first Heros helmet had a synthetic leather neck pad, an uncoated visor and no edge protection. The helmet follows in South Tyrol on the German metal helmets number 0981 and 0982, Italy. The fire brigades in South Tyrol also wore the Schuberth F200 and Gallet F1 helmets after the change of the helmet generation. See helmets 0231 and 0419, Austria |
