Fire helmet from Spain. The red helmet was made of fiberglass. While the surface is smoothed outside, it is raw inside. The helmet was worn in the period around 1980. Its external shape is very reminiscent of the German firefighter helmets made of aluminum. However, the rear area is pulled very far back. The helmet comb is also very solid and it is made with the helmet bell together. The leather inner helmet is attached to the helmet shell with four split pins. Likewise the leather chinstrap. The helmet is said to have been used by units of the Forest Fire Brigade. At the front is the badge of the city of Madrid. The manufacturer is unknown. See helmet 0736, Spain |
