| 0964 | Fire helmet from France. The brass helmet dates from 1885. The helmet from a firefighter rank was worn by the Nointel city fire department. The helmet is predecessor of number 0947, France which was worn from 1895. A striking difference is the attachment of the helmet comb. While the comb is attached here with continuous rivets, the comb is attached to the successor with two screws from the inside. At the front there is the badge of the fire brigade with the text: "Sapeurs Pompiers Nointel". The city is about 25km north of Paris. | ||||
