Fire helmet from Finland. The white painted steel helmet is a so-called Sohlberg helmet. The helmet built for the Russian military was developed towards the end of World War I in 1917 and built as M17 in Finland. For more information on the helmet see helmet 0787, Finland Compared to helmet 0787, this helmet was painted white. At the front there is the inscription "GAS". Their meaning is unknown. |
