Fire helmet from Lebanon. Manufacturer of the red plastic helmet is the company Cairns & Brothers from the USA. The model is called RNN MK11, where RNN stands for Royal Netherlands Navy. For more information about the helmet see helmet number 0405, Netherlands. The helmet was worn at the fire departments in the Lebanese region Bekaa and Baalbek. The helmet was built in the period around 1997. He was first in the Dutch Navy in use for what he was specially built. When changing the helmet type at the Dutch Navy (about 2009), the helmet was retired and given to the fire departments in Lebanon. At the front, the central symbol of the Lebanese flag, the cedar tree, was added. |
