Fire helmet from Turkey. The red painted metal helmet dates from around 1960. It was used by the professional fire department of the city of Istanbul. He is the successor of the helmet number 0621, Turkey (1950) and predecessor of the helmets 0520, Turkey (1960) and 0737, Turkey (1970). Like its predecessor, the helmet has the striking brass comb in a classic, triangular shape. The brass emblem on the front and the side cockades were taken over by the predecessor. A neck protection made of red painted leather is attached to the helmet. |
