Fire helmet from the Caribbean island of Trinidad and Tobago. Manufacturer is Helmets Limited from Great Britain. The helmet type is: F335 Middlesex (MIDDX Style F.335). The helmet size is given in the helmet with "Large 60/62", the year of manufacture with 1984. For details of the helmet see helmet 0074, Ireland. The two black stripes on the yellow helmet show the rank of the firefighter. A yellow helmet with two black stripes stands for a sub officer. At the front is the metal badge of the fire brigade. It is marked with the letter "Trinida Tobago Fire Service" and the text "In the service of the people". The fire brigade of the two islands was founded in 1951. It now comprises 4 divisions with 25 fire stations (including the fire stations at the two international airports) distributed over the two islands. |
