Brass helmet (˜1880)
In this collection since: 02.08.2016 |
0818 |
Brass helmet from Germany. The helmet from the southern German town of Waldkirch is like the helmet 0064, Germany. It is also a brass helmet, probably an Ulmer shape with a district plate, similar to helmet No. 0047. The attached "W" stands for Waldkirch. In the crest there is already a perforation for the insertion of an officer's bushel or tip. In contrast to the helmet number 0064, this helmet shows clear operating traces. The rear shield is broken and the inner helmet is detached from the helmet. |
