Fire helmet from former Czechoslovakia. The black volcanic helmet with a slim, high, gold-colored aluminum comb and a brass mount on the eye and neck brim dates from around 1930. The helmets used in Austria and the K & K monarchy are examples of this helmet form. The insignia attached to the front with the hooks and the fireweave ax contains in the center the symbol of the exploding grenades with the letters "CZHJ". The badge was worn from 1936 onwards. The inner helmet is made of leather as well as the chin strap. Inside, the helmet is lined with leather.
