0754 Fire helmet from Canada. The manufacturer of the helmet is the company Bullard in the USA. The helmet type from the Firedome series is called "PX". The Firedome series helmets come in three different materials. Helmets named "FX" are made of fiberglass composite, "helmets with the designation" PX and FH "are made of Thermoplastic and helmets of the designation" UST "consist of Thermoglas Composite. The helmet was produced in June 2003 according to NFPA 1971: 2000. Its neck protection is made of aramid fabric and its inner lining is made of urethane. Inside is a sticker with the part number of the city of Montreal attached. (Ville de Montreal: 625597). The city has 78 fire stations. The helmet comes from the station 5. The address of the station (Caserne) 5 is: 75 Rue Ontario Est, Montréal, QC H2X 1G9. The station was built in 1964. From 1863 to 1908 the station 5 was in the 2220, rue Sainte-Catherine, in the time from 1908 to 1964 then in the 389, Rue Ontario Ouest. In the station are stationed the units 116 (Division Chief, Region 6), 136 (Operation Chief Region 6), 205 (Engine), 405 (Ladder), 1005 (Command Post) and 1605 (crane truck). On the front of the helmet is glued on the front label with the inscription "SIM" (Service de sécurité incendie de Montréal) "Pompier" and the station number 5. This is also glued on to the back of the helmet. The yellow helmet was used by a fireman. Yellow helmets with a red triangle mean that the firefighter is eligible for the rank of lieutenant. The red helmet is used by officers like Lieutenant and Captain. White helmets are used by the Operation Chief or Division Chief. Blue helmets are worn by firefighters, who coordinate the installation of the vehicles and ensure the water supply to the ladder companies. Orange helmets are used by fire investigator.
