Fire helmet from the Netherlands. The manufacturer of the black polycarbonate helmet is the German company Römer. The helmet was sold in the Netherlands by Kraayer. The type is Holland. For more information on the helmet, see 0102, Netherlands. The helmet corresponds to the helmets of the fire brigade of Amsterdam. Instead of the town coat-of-arms, however, the uniform fire-brigade badge, made of metal is attached here. Normally the matching helmet to this badge would have been produced without the square crest and the shield mount. (See helmet 0090, the Netherlands). The helmet was used between 1942 and 1968 in the town of Abcoude. Abcoude is a former municipality in the Dutch province of Utrecht. Since January 1, 2011, it has belonged to the municipality of De Rondevenen.
