Fire helmet from South Africa. The helm from the city of Johannesburg was manufactured by the Canadian company "Safety Supply Company" in Toronto. The helmet type is called "Super Chieftain". The yellow polycarbonate helmet conforms to the following standards: ANSI Z.89.1 - 1969 Class D, Type 1. The helm has a thin helmet shell and a wide, circumferential brim. For more information on the helmet see helmet number 0132, Canada. The helmet was worn by the fire brigade of the city of Johannesburg. On the front is the badge of the fire department. The shield consists of transparent plastic, the badge itself is attached behind it. Above is the name of the city "Johannesburg", below the motto; "Fortiter Et Recte". ("With Strength and Right") |
