0746 Fire helmet from Mexico City, capital of Mexico. Manufacturer is the company Cairns & Brothers from the USA. The helmet type is "770, Philadelphian". The model 770 has been manufactured since 1974. The yellow polycarbonate helmet has a shorter rear brim. It is intended to facilitate the wearing of a respiratory mask. The helmet shown here was produced in 2005. He was employed by the fire department of the University of Mexico City. The National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) is one of the oldest and largest universities on the American continent. On the front is the coat of arms of the Mexican fire brigades, including the inscription U.N.A.M. Both sides are labeled with "G-2". The model 770 is no longer built. The helmet model 660 C Metro, launched in 1981, is comparable to the helmet. It is still being built.
