Fire helmet from Chile. The red polycarbonate helmet, is from the American helmet manufacturer company "MSA" Pittsburgh, Pensylvenia. It was produced as a Topgard model in 1978 and was probably used until 2000. The very light helmet has a remarkably thin inner helmet. The Topgard model is approved as a fire helmet by the ANSI Z89.1 1969 Class "D". (American National Standard Institute). Its head size range is between 61/2 and 7 ¾. The MSA Topgard helmet was a very popular helmet. It has been used for many years in various countries. See helmet: 220 Cambodia of 1988, 253 Argentina of 1987, 290 Argentina of 1988, 326 Portugal of 1986, 483 Switzerland of 1972. This helmet was used by the fire department of the capital city Lima in Peru. He was used at company 28 in the district of Miraflores. It is one of the city districts. On its 9.62 km² surface live around 93,000 inhabitants. At the side the number 28 shows the company. On the back is the lettering "Tecnico". At the front is the uniform fire badge of the country. It is the insignia of CUERPO GENERAL DE BOMBEROS VOLUNTARIOS DEL PERÚ. |
