Firefighter helmet from the Netherlands. As in Belgium, helmets of the German company Schuberth were also worn in the Netherlands. The manufacturer "Schuberthwerk Braunschweig West Germany" is stamped on the inside of the helmet. This helmet was built in 1977 according to DIN 4840. In the Netherlands, there were many different types of helmets, such as this simple helmet, which was also used in Syria (see Helm 154). Compared to the Syrian model, this helmet has been supplemented by an edge protection profile and a neck leather. On the front is the coat of arms of the Dutch fire brigades. A wide, black stripe is attached all around. The black strip and white helmet signify a commander. See helmet 90/128/510 |
