0594 Fire helmet from France. The silver chrome helmet from CGF Gallet was produced in May 1988. The helmet type is F1A PA 45. In 1985, the half-shell helmet F1 was designed and built for the first time. For details on the helmet data, see helmet number 0307 Luxembourg. The helmet of the fire department of Lyon has mounted its own plate on the front instead of the usual front plate. In addition to the coat of arms of Lyon, the lettering "Communaute Urbaine De Lyon" (Lyon Urban Community) is attached. The city of Lyon has almost 500.000 inhabitants. The fire department has 5 fire stations. At the side shows the number 3 the belonging to the fire station 3. At the back is a yellow strip with red edging attached. It identifies the rank of the firefighter. The rank marking is as follows: red (Firefighter), yellow (Subofficer), white (Officers). The rank marking is not uniform within France. The fire brigades or departments awarded the colors at its discretion.
