In this collection since: 07.03.2013
0514 Fire helmet from the former Yugoslavia. The aluminum helmet was produced in the usual form wich is calle: Wiener Form. (See helmets No.: 14/92/228). He was made ans worn in the time of the second socialist Yugoslavia (1943/45-1991/92) which consisted of the Republics of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Slovenia, and had its capital in Belgrade.
The helmet still bears the old Yugoslav badge on the front that was worn in the period until 1970. Between 1970 and 1985, newer badges were on the same helmets worn (see helmet 92). With the introduction of plastic helmets around 1985, stickers corresponding to these badges were used (see helmet 229). After Yugoslavia broke up, these emblems were removed and country own badge mounted (see helmet 14/228)
