Serbia Synthetic helmet (˜1986)

0471 Fire helmet from the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. The dark gray helmet was developed and built by Viplam in Domzale (now Slovenia) about 15km north-east of Ljubljana. The type is called M273/80. It was produced in 1986. Viplam produced since the beginning of 1980 even the normally, in the fire service common, yellow firehelmet for Yugoslavia. The dark gray helmet was made for fire-fighting units in the Yugoslav army.
After the division of the Yugoslav State, the republics of Serbia and Montenegro, founded in 1992, the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. As Serbia in terms of area for the lion's share of this country is to be assumed that the helmet was used in the Serbian part of the country where he got the national colors of the Republic of Serbia in 2006 after the dissolution of the common state.

Viplam Domzale - Coll zapatente M273/80 - JUS Z.B1. 400 - 1986
What does the marks mean in detail, is not known. 1986 is the year of manufacture.
