Austria Synthetic helmet (˜1992)

0436 Fire helmet from Vienna, capital city of Austria. The white plastic helmet was made in 1992 by CGF Gallet in France.
The model is called F1, it has the following features:
Gold face shield, clear eye shield, long shell in the ear area, head size can be adjusted within the range of sizes, portable system from an aramid mesh for a comfortable fit, chin straps and harnesses made of flame-resistant aramid and fast-to-use automatic buckle, in conjunction with full masks Panorama Nova and F2 Dräger with steel adapters that helmets are ideal for respiratory protection (masks have to be ordered - existing masks can be upgraded)
COLOR: white, silver Fronplatte top of the helmet
NORM: HELMET: EN 443 SIGHT: EN 166
WEIGHT: 1,150 grams
SIZE: 53 - 57 (50 - 52 with padding, must be ordered separately!)
The helmet was manufactured in 1992, the mounted neck protector was made by the successor company MSA Gallet and is significantly younger.
At the front of the helmet is the metal emblem of the Fire Department Vienna, on the backside on a label: FEUERWEHR (fire brigade). Over this is a silver reflective stripe which obvious marks firemen. At the fire department Vienna also white helmets with red stripes can be found. The exact identification of the rank of Fire Vienna is unknown.

The fire department is, founded in 1686, the oldest fire department in the world The supplied area by the Vienna Fire Department reserve of 415 square kilometers. It is divided into nine fire sections with main fire stations and related fire stations. These 27 fire stations were distributed throughout the city, to reach every place in case of emergency in five minutes with the first force.
