0389 Fire Helmet of the Fire Department Warsaw, Poland. The red helmet made of fiberglass composite material was developed by the Polish company KZPT (KALISKIE ZAKŁADY PRZEMYSŁU TERENOWEGO) in Kalisz produced, the name of the helmet is PH5z/2000. He is the last generation of the PH5 helmets. The helmet PH5, produced in according to EN443/1999, is successor of the helmet 101. The helmet was produced in the 4th Quarter in 2004 which showes a sticker inside the helmet. It was used in the years between 1991 and 2005. He is very similar to its predecessor but has received some improvements. The plexiglass visor meets EN166, the sihield is still there, but the lamp holder was removed. The visor is adjustable and is fixed on the side clamp screws. In addition to the attachment of the visor, a mounting for a breathing mask has attached. Rear is a very long, wide neck protection leather with buttons buttoned in. Circulating outside 5 50x20mm large reflective stickers are attached. The edge protection is now made of plastic, and the very willful lining was inside removed, in its place a shock absorption material was installed, the top baffle plate made of leather is more massive, the headband with leather trim and a 4 - point chin strap made of nylon have also been significantly improved. The helmet is still used by the 4,000 units of volunteer fire departments in Poland (OSP - Ochotnicza Straż Pożarna), the most professional fire brigades in Poland now uses newer helmets from various manufacturers such as: KZPT ZS 03, AK 06, AK09, AK10, the Gallet F1 or how the fire brigade in Warsaw at the moment (2011) the Pacific helmets F7.
