In this collection since: 08.01.2005
0222 South Korean fire helmet from the city of Tae-baek. The helmet was warn since the beginning of the 1990´s from the units of the technical help. The date 1997 10 is inside the helmet on a signpost, what showes the production month an year. The fire departments of South Korea subdivide the fire department work into medical units (helmet 213), Fire service (helmet 194/195/196/200/201/202/212) and just the unity of the technical help. The helmets were worn up to the year 2002. The helmets are switched over at the moment, however, aren't distributed completely yet. See the new helmet at number 254. The helmets remind of conventional motorcycle helmets, what they also actually are. The helmets are produced from the little South Korean company Il-Sin-San-Ob. They are converted from an unknown small company. The retrofitting confines himself to attaching the Dekore like the yellow reflecting character at the sides, which one stands for the fire station of the city of Tae-Baek. "Fire department" stands behind and the uniform symbol of the fire departments of south Korea is appropriate in front. The helmet has a circulating gummed edge protection and it is feeding withe 25mm styrofoam. Team ranks till below the Lieutenant wear white helmets, officers up from Lieutenant wear green helmets.
