| 0215 | Fire helmet from the USA. The black Polycarbonat helmet was built by the manufacturer Federal Signal as type FH- 2 at 1972. The helmet makes a very heavy impression. The helmet bell, complete edged with an edge protection, reminds in his origin form to the German helmets DIN 14940. The front shield is separately appropriated as well as the rigid neck guard and the visor. These components also are from Polycarbonat. The rigid neck guard can be fastened by 5 pushbuttons. The inside helmet only consists of the headband. This is adjustable to the head sizes from 6.5 to 8. There are no stripes for the head, for this a synthetic material foam plate is inserted in the helmet bell wich one is fastened by a velcro. The chinstrap is made from polyester and he is very circumstantially to open and to close. At the side and behind there are red, reflective stripes appropriated, behind above and on the neck guard silver reflective stripes are attached as well as in red the number 3. Which meaning the number 3 has isn't known, it could be the assignment to a fire station. The number 2438 at the side is carved in. The material specifications and instructions of cleaning are inside on a sticker in English language. There is no reference to the manufacturer. | |||||
