South Korean fire helmet from the city of Tae-baek. The helmet was worn till the middle of the 1990s by the units of the medical services. The ambulancemen wear no more helmets today. The label on the side means: "Tae-baek Fire station". The on sticking badge at the front is the general badge of the South Korean fire departments and it is also to see at the helmets of the fire department. The emergency call number of the fire department "119" is appropriate in a red color behind. The manufacturer of the white synthetic material helmet is the company Safety Helmet whose logo is a crown. This badge is stamped into the frond shield. The date 02.04.1990 is inside the helmet on a sticker. I assume that this is the production date. The helmet has all in all the typically Asian helmet form which one is known also in Russia or Mongolia. Question: Who knows the company Safety Helmet? |
