0203 Romanian fire helmet. The green helmet made of glass fiber reinforced synthetic material is painted only on the outside. The structure can be recognized inside below a varnish layer. The helmet resembles to the Japanese helmets see number 103 in his form. A mount is attached for a light at the front, an eye protection visor could be attached on the sides. Both is, however, missing. The neck guard is made of simple tarpaulin material, the inside helmet for the helmet age however relatively robust. The thick brow band offered a soft carrying comfort. The helmet is from the Romanian city of Sibieu, early called Hermannstadt. The helmets were worn so from approx. 1960 to 1990. The German helmets DIN 14940 are used today. There aren't any professional fire departments in Romania. While voluntary fire departments are prevailing in the rural room (the firemen wear red helmets here), is the fire protection in the towns made by professional units of the armed forces. The helmets are green in the armed forces. The fire department helmets are passed on within the armed forces from soldier to soldier. After 12 months the time for a soldier ended. Inside the helmet was written: AMR ( Au mai rámas ) 2 Zile, what as much as "still two day" means. Officers are professional soldiers.
Question: Who knows the manufacturer of this helmet?
