South Korean fire helmet from the city of Tae-baek. The yellow synthetic material helmet is from the company SanChoang. The helmet model is the third version wich is in use in South Korea. The model is called: SCA 1205-A. With this helmet there was the first generation which an eye protection had. Yellow helmets was worn by the teams, white helmets indicated officers. The helmets are uniform for all of South Korea. The helmet resembles strongly to the Swiss helmets Nr.81 and Nr.4 in his form. The eye protection is only an approx. 15 cm wide Polycarbonat shield which can be slid into the helmet bowl. The helmet was worn at 1988. A neck leather could be fastende to the helmet bowl on buttons. Question: Who knows the manufacturer SanChoang? |
