The fire helmet from the " Fire service -- Hong Kong " from the English crown colony in China. Produced 1982. Inside synthetic material, on the outside cork with a yellowly lacquered canvas covered. The high helmet form and the comb are part of the security concept. The cork helmet has a very strong tradition in England. The type: Cromwell, model: County. Manufacturer is the English company Helmets Ltd. The rank of the person isn't known, the two orange, full points on every side, define, however, a officer rank. The emblem of the Fire service is stuck on at the front. Striking is, that the chinstrap isn't assembled, the fastening for this is available. See also helmets no.: 26 and 119.
Question: The fireman had which rank? What the 8 means?
