Aluminum helmet (˜1980)
In this collection since: 08.05.2002 |
0112 |
Italian fire helmet from South Tyrol. The helmet is a German production according to DIN 14940. It is used in South Tyrol since 1965. South Tyrol uses this helmet as a representation of the independence and delimitation to Rome. Till few years ago this helmet also had a storm ribbon with lateral brass lion heads to the jewelry, in addition to the DIN chinstrap. The high gloss lacquered, black helmet, has an also lacquered cockscomb, a circulating, silverly reflective stripe and at the front a great Brass emblem. The apparently new helmet has an approx. 15 mm thick rubber plate inside as a Blow protection, the neck leather is available.
The helmet has been replaced by modern, luminous helmets, but is still worn on parade purposes. |
