Japanese standard fire helmet from glass fiber of the fire department Tokyo. This helmet form which has French and American style elements was introduced after the 2nd World War. The traditionally approved shoulder protection finds use further. The silver-colored helmet at 1980, has circulatingly two red Stripes wich ones pointing out an Commanding officer of a fire station. The stripes recur in the green shoulder protection in black. Beam pipe leaders didn't have any stripes on the cloth, and are clothed completely silver-colored. Helmets since 1980 have eye protection this one could slid into the helmet. The emblem of the fire department Tokyo is attached golden at the front. The protection cloth made of coated cotton, you could button one at the inside helmet. The helmet bowl has an 14 mm thick bowl made of hard styrofoam as penetration protection. A Sticker inside and in the shoulder cloth describes the brand or manufacturer well in Japanese characters. Manufacturer is the Japanese helmet manufacturer Shoei Helmets. |
