0006 The successor German armed forces steel helmet M1943 as a fire helmet with a cockscomb made of aluminum put on after a Prussian example since 1934. Combs for higher defense leaders had to be golden like the buttons. The M1943 is the simplified version of the M1935. so he has a far simpler inside helmet and no edge board lungs.
